Rex Baker Trophy Room Tour

Sunday, June 1st (2-5PM)

$50 per person, children 16 and under are free. 100% of funds received go to the nonprofit Youth CAP Program. Light refreshments will be provided.

Long-time SCI member Rex Baker and 2002 Weatherby Award winner is offering a rare opportunity to tour his trophy room. Rex has truly hunted the world and has taken more than 300 different species of game animals. Rex is particularly known as a mountain sheep and goat hunter. He completed his first Grand Slam in two years. He also has achieved a Capra Slam, Capra World Slam, and Ovis Super 40. Rex is also among only three Americans to receive the top European mountain award, Culminum Magistar. He also holds SCI’s World Hunting Award and has been inducted into the Pantheon.

100% of tour fees will be donated to the Youth Cap Program. These funds are matched on a 3 to 1 ratio with Pittman Robinson Act funds so that your $50 donation becomes a donation of $200 towards the cause. Youth CAP is a non-profit organization dedicated to placing a dedicated DNR employee in each state to visit school classes and instruct students and teachers on the merits and impact of science-based conservation management practices including the role of the hunter-angler in supporting and helping to fund these efforts. State-mandated education curricula require these topics across the Nation beginning in the 3rd and 4th grades and continuing thereafter in various forms throughout the K-12 curriculum.
