Presidents Message

Make plans to attend the Chapter’s annual banquet and fund raiser February 6, 2010, at the Atlanta Airport Marriott. There will be many new and familiar exhibitors presenting their business and exciting hunting opportunities. The doors will open at 10 AM with dinner starting at 6 PM. (see our flier on web site and GON add).

The Committees for exhibitors, donations, memberships, and events have put together a very good list of items, exhibitors and hunts that will make this a show you don’t want to miss.

The Chapter held events throughout the year in an effort to increase membership and raise funds for the Safari Wish Program. Events such as 3rd annual Sporting Clay event, held at Cherokee Rose, Fund Raiser for wounded veterans in Newnan, Ga., which was put together by George Roark, the annual golf tournament put together by John Morley and dove shoot and barbeque membership event put together by Jim Freeman. There were many new members recruited and the Chapter sent wounded veterans on a charter fishing trip in the Gulf as well as a hunting trip for medically fragile Children/wounded vets at Dagger Horn Plantation in Alabama.
