GASCI Sportsman's Convention & Show

Each year the Georgia Chapter of SCI hosts the largest show of its kind in the Southeastern United States.  The 2010 Georgia Chapter of Safari Club International's Annual Fundraiser, Show and Dinner was one to remember.
 
This is our major fundraiser of the year and ALL income generated will be used to support wildlife conservation, wildlife education and hunter services for Georgians and SCI. There were over 50 exhibitors to show their products and services from 10 am to 5 pm.  The Show was open to the public with free admission. Exhibitors included: Taxidermists, North American and African Outfitters, Quail Hunting Plantations, Custom Jewelry Makers, Custom Knife Makers, Gun Dealers and others. We want to especially recognize the presence of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources interactive exhibits during the show.
 
The dinner and live auction always highlight the show. This year after a great dinner, we raffled over 20 quality firearms and had quite an assortment of silent auction items that included sporting equipment, fine art work, custom jewelry and trips.

The live auction had over 30 quality featured items which included Hunts for Cape Buffalo, Brown Bear, Elk, Mule and Whitetail Deer, Red Stag and all types of African Plains Game. Several bird hunts, Fishing trips, Paintings were included as well as various sporting equipment.  A great time was had by all!
